Steps to Get Certified
The general steps to earn the CPGE™ is to take the 3-hour class, then successfully complete the 30-question test.
The in-person class is regularly held in Las Vegas, with both am and pm session options. Led by an experienced facilitator, participants enjoy learning with discussions, all completed in one 3-hour session with the test administered immediately following.

Learning Resources
The CPGE™ includes a 3-hour, in-person, class. The curriculum is crafted to provide a comprehensive framework for mastering guest service excellence.
Designed by industry veterans, the curriculum covers essential topics that address real-world challenges in guest interaction. The CPGE™ emphasizes actionable techniques for problem-solving and innovation, ensuring that participants are prepared to handle guest-related situations with confidence and poise. Through a blend of theoretical insights and practical application, the program equips learners with the skills to not only meet but exceed guest expectations at every turn.
Certification Exam
The certification test consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, can be taken online or at in-person classes. The passing score is 70%; retakes are permitted without a waiting period with a fee, but all attempts must be completed within 90 days.
Recertification
Recertification, with a fee, is required (no further exams required) five years after earning the certification. Recertification includes a 1-hour refresher class delivered online.
Time Allowed
The training and certification test are both delivered within the 3-hour in-class session.
